The Party of Wales Arfon Standing up for the people of Arfon

A number of Caernarfon residents have contacted me recently sharing their concerns regarding the proposed electricity generation station at Seiont Quarry. There is currently an opportunity to share local views via Cadnant Planning's website, where the draft planning application is available for review.

After reviewing the plans, I have contacted Cadnant Planning to express my objection to the proposed station. Plants that rely on fossil fuels can contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. In addition, the plans show that no permanent jobs will be created as part of the project.

Given the limited benefits for Arfon, I cannot give my support to this proposal.
