The Party of Wales Arfon Standing up for the people of Arfon

Arfon AM Siân Gwenllian is seeking assurances from the North Wales Health Board and the Labour Health Cabinet Secretary that Welsh-speaking GP services will be available to the patients of Dyffryn Nantlle following the imminent retirement of the area’s only Welsh speaking doctor.

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Wales have welcomed a recently published report, commissioned by Arfon AM Siân Gwenllian and Hywel Williams MP which calls for a North Wales medical school to help tackle the acute national shortage of doctors.

At the Assembly recently, Arfon’s Assembly Member Siân Gwenllian expressed her disappointment at the lack of progress in proposed improvements to the A470. The A470 is a key transport link which connects the north and the south of Wales.
