Siân Gwenllian AM welcomes the news that Gwynfor Coaches is to take over the running of the no.88 Llanberis service to Caernarfon from Monday, 24th of September after Arriva decided not to continue the service. Arriva will still be running the service on Sundays.

“This is a very important service for the inhabitants of Llanberis, Cwm-y-Glo and Llanrug who depend on it to get to work and to appointments in Caernarfon. Rural services often miss out and it would be far easier to run a sustainable service if the responsibility for bus services was brought into public ownership.”
